In the spring of 2004, AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums developed and approved the basic principles of corporate governance. The principles of corporate governance were implemented in order to ensure understanding from partners and clients about the Bank’s activities and to increase confidence in the Bank’s long-term economic potential.

Implementation of corporate governance shows that the Bank carries its business in accordance with public interests while trying to achieve the best possible operational results.

In its principles of corporate governance AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums has also included the code of Ethics, which describes the ethical principles for employee conduct and the basic values of the Bank’s corporate identity.

Following its Corporate Governance policy, AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums strives to ensure transparency of its business, personnel training, improvement of the services quality, provision of high quality services focused on client needs, and effective internal controls.
