In 2004 AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums continued its successful co-operation with AS SEB Latvijas Unibanka. In order to expand lending, in 2003 AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums received a credit line from AS SEB Latvijas Unibanka, a member of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken group. The credit line is secured by a share of AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums loan portfolio. Such practice of attracting of funds is widespread among commercial banks worldwide.
AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums is one of the first banks in Latvia that has used the opportunity to borrow funds from a Latvian bank that is a member of an international finance group, thus being put a confidence into by a Scandinavian banking group Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken.
The obtained funding is used for financing of trade, sea transport, and transit sector companies
AS Regionala Investiciju Banka
In 2004 AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums and AS Regionala Investiciju Banka created a syndicate for trade finance transactions.
A client received a credit line that is proportionally funded by AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums and AS Regionala Investiciju Banka.

AS Parex banka
In 2004 AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums completed one of the most important projects in its history-the first public issue of the Bank’s unsecured notes in the amount of EUR 3,855,500 and term to maturity of 2 years was successfully carried out.
The manager of the issue was AS Parex banka. AS Parex banka is one of the leaders in the Baltic market of investment banking services and is one of the most professional managers of debt securities issues.
AS SEB Latvijas Unibanka
AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums actively co-operates with AS SEB Latvijas Unibanka not only in lending but also in the area of investments.
Investment company AS Baltikums Asset Management a subsidiary of AS Akciju komercbanka Baltikums, has established and successfully manages three open investment funds–Baltic Index Fund, Government Bond Fund and Fund of International Stock Funds.
In order to expand the distribution network of the shares of the funds, IPAS Baltikums Asset Management has concluded an agreement with AS SEB Latvijas Unibanka on the distribution of the fund shares. According to the agreement, AS SEB Latvijas Unibanka ensures the sale and repurchasing of the shares of the funds. The shares of the funds are offered in all branches of AS SEB Latvijas Unibanka.
AS SEB Latvijas Unibanka is also the custodian bank for Baltic Index Fund and Fund of International Stock Funds.
