In the beginning of 2004, international registration of Baltikums brand was completed with all the rights to the brand reserved to JSC Akciju komercbanka Baltikums.

Baltikums trademark was registered in order to protect intellectual property and develop Baltikums brand as Latvia joined the European Union that contributes to expansion of international economic relationships.

Baltikums trademark is registered according to Madrid Protocol and Madrid Agreement and the registration covers the main areas of operations of the Baltikums group: financial services (bank services, insurance, investments, operations with real estate, etc.), market analysis and consulting services, IT, information services and providing of the above mentioned services through Internet.
